This last weekend at PAX-East, ACAM made a special arrangement to permit the first public showing of Crazy Otto in almost 30 years.

Crazy Otto:
If you are wondering exactly what Crazy Otto is... it was the title developed as an upgrade kit to Pac-Man by GCC back in 1981. Ultimately GCC would go on to create Ms. Pac-Man and Crazy Otto would disappear into history.. . until now.

ACAM was able to work with GCC to allow gamers to not only see, but *play* Crazy Otto for the first time in 30 years.

ACAM Display:
The ACAM exhibit had 18 video games and 4 pinball machines in their classic arcade exhibit (that was totally mobbed for all three days). All games were set to free play and exhibit was free to PAX-East attendees.

ACAM also arranged a private showing for Wil Wheaton, the keynote speaker for PAX-East. Wil had so much fun we was late for his signing session!

Discussion Panel:
Led by ACAM board member Mike Stulir, a discussion panel with the crew from GCC was held to talk about coin-op & console development. GCC co-founder Doug Macrae was a last minute addition to the panel, so there were 7 former GCC members participating and a few more in the audience.

ACAM is already planning to attend the next PAX-East. So look for more classic games to be on display next year. Of course, if you can't wait until then, why not try visiting the largest arcade in the world.
