The Pinball Wizard Arcade in Pelham, NH announces its First Annual International Pinball Wizard Challenge 2011. This challenge marks the six month anniversary of the arcade’s opening and will offer 24 Pinball Machines divided into three individual competitions according to the year produced - 1980’s, 1990’s and 2000’s. Cash and Prizes will be offered for each competition.
The Challenge will start on Friday, July 15th and continue thru Sunday, July 17th, 2011. The tournament hours are Friday and Saturday, 10am – midnight and Sunday 10am – 5pm. Entry is $45 if you register before July 14th ($50 during the tournament) and will include 200 game tokens. The first 100 registrants will receive a Pinball Wizard Arcade T-shirt.
In an effort to maintain a fair and balanced playing field, the titles of the machines in the challenge will not be announced until the first day of the tournament. Players may compete on any machine in any order but must complete a score for each machine included in the tournament to qualify. The tournament will utilize the Aurcade scoring system using a score/percentage format. The scores and player standings will be displayed real-time on the arcade's two 55" wall mounted monitors.
The Pinball Wizard Arcade is located at 150 Bridge St in Pelham, NH. The 10,000 square foot facility offers over 80 pinball machines from the 1970’s to present, 160+ classic video games, redemption games, skeeball, basketball, air hockey and pool tables.
