rwm741 Joined: 09/08/08	I haven't been here in over a year; I'll likely visit here later today (11/01/'10)... The last time I was here, Ms. Pac-Man was sped up with the "fast game" blue setting. Galaga gave five ships with one bonus. They used to have Centipede, but I guess that's gone now... I can't really classify Connecticut Golf Land as an arcade, as it has go carts, a miniature golf course, and other activities. This is probably better classified as a "Family Fun Center". Most of the games are newer than the "classic" games that I've come to know and love... This is the only place I know of that has "whack-a-mole".
rwm741 Joined: 09/08/08	Okay, I finally had a chance to visit Connecticut Golfland. Their hours are greatly restricted now: Fri, Sat, and Sun and they close at 9:00. I recall that the game room was open seven days a week until 11, even in the off season... The Galaga and Ms. Pac-Man machines are no more at this site. Instead, they have a "Class of '81", which is on fast settings. (At least, Galaga is, and I presume Ms. Pac-Man as well based on the high score.)... When I visited there Friday evening, around 6 p.m., the place was more like a tomb than an arcade. I was the only person there; I didn't even see any employees there! Creepy. Definitely a sign of a bad economy, or the arcade gaming era being gone, or poor management.
