Rules
- different level sets, most are the same. the ones that are the same come up in a different
order. In new ver. lv 14 is lv 11 in older version.
- enemy difficulty in newer ver. starts off much slower. In old ver. starts off at near max speed
- both games have 32 level set. when you hit level "33", it replays lv 17 **** new version easier??
- level 25 of old ver. is also lv 32. old ver only has 31 islands, reuses lv 25

The sequel (prequel?) to the original Dig Dug game. Your hero is on an island and he must either blow up the enemies with his pump just like before, or he can drill along fault lines to sink parts of the island and drown any enemies in that area as well.

Score maxes out at an even million.

There are two versions of Dig Dug 2 where the level maps are completely different in the early stages, the old version features harder maps versus the new version where it reduced the difficulty and gave opportunities to score bigger points. GGA has the old version, the version in the 60-in-1 board has the new.
