Description

A one- or two-player horizontal-scrolling beat-em-up that is based on
the french comic series "Asterix & Obelix". The player fights as Asterix
or Obelix against dozens of enemies from the time of the roman
empire.

Take the role of either Asterix or Obelix in a number of bold (and
funny) adventures around Europe and beyond. There are lots of
funny moves (known from the comics) that can be performed by
special joystick and button combinations as explained in the
attract mode of the game.

Drinking the magic poition (Asterix) or eating a roast (Obelix) will
make them briefly invincible and allow them to plow through
Romans, causing them to drop their helmets before running away.
