I like how the article points out that people are becoming worried about gaming addiction after all this collapse and multiple deaths. I think good parenting would be a solution especially if you don't see your kid for 4 days. Marathoning games for that long can be risky... Maybe 100 hours of Q-Bert isn't the best idea.

This is why when we have marathons on here, we are never alone. We set up streams so that our peers and fans can watch us, we have our friends and family there on site to keep track of the score and lives remaining, and we also have our colleagues there to encourage us and motivate us to keep going and also to make sure we're not about to collapse from exhaustion by staying hydrated and fed. Put all this together, and we are never alone when we marathon! We have a whole team behind us! Let us promote safe marathoning! :D
